Order Process
What happens after I place an order?
Orders move through five stages:
- Order Confirmation β SEOUL4PM purchases from the brand or a verified vendor once your order is confirmed.
- Product Sourcing β items arrive at the Korean warehouse.
- Quality Check & Packing β items are inspected for quality, expiration, and quantity, then packed.
- Export Documentation β invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin are prepared.
- Dispatch & Tracking β the shipment is handed to the courier and a tracking number is shared.
How do I check my order status?
Go to My orders. Each item carries its own status badge, and the tabs across the top let you filter by stage:
- Awaiting deposit
- Pooling orders
- Stock requested
- Secured
- In warehouse
- Packing
- Awaiting balance
- Preparing shipment
- Shipped
- Delivered
Since SEOUL4PM sources each item separately, different items in the same order can be at different stages β one may already be in the warehouse while another is still being sourced. Three stages worth knowing:
- Pooling orders β waiting to be grouped with other buyers' orders before the purchase order is placed.
- Secured β the brand has confirmed your quantity and the item is on its way to the warehouse.
- Awaiting balance β the only stage that needs your action: settle the balance per shipment and it ships.
Items that need your attention β delayed, not secured, canceled, or returned β appear under the Needs attention tab in My orders. Shipment and tracking details are under My shipments.
Is a specific product always available to source?
If it's listed on the website, it's generally available to order. However, since SEOUL4PM runs on a pre-order model, sourcing can occasionally be affected by brand or supplier circumstances β if that happens, you can choose whether to request it again directly on the site, or your manager will reach out to you directly.
Warehouse Storage
Does SEOUL4PM charge for warehouse storage?
If items remain in the warehouse after balance payment, storage fees apply starting 14 days after the packing completion date, at $30 per pallet (PLT) per month. Large-volume buyers are handled under separate terms.
Shelf Life
How much shelf life is left on the products?
Since SEOUL4PM places orders with brands only after your order is confirmed, it's able to supply recently manufactured products, and aims to guarantee at least one and a half years of shelf life remaining on all items. The exact expiration date is difficult to confirm before your order is finalized.
